Carpenter Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced concrete carpenter to assist with a ground–up multi-family and student housing projects. Thisindividual will be a part of a crew working on the concrete scope of the project. Full-time position, competitive pay includingbenefits. Need to be comfortable with construction culture and environment and able to work well with others in a teamsetting. Must be able to work on a construction site.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for following safety standards throughout the duration of the job
• Complete a wide-range of construction labor to include jobsite clean-up and moving of material by hand
• Identify safety risks and the precautious required to eliminate those risks
• Identify all tools required for tasks
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install specified materials
• Take part in pouring of vertical concrete
• Taking direction from the respective foreman
• Ability to set up and take down shoring equipment
• Manage your time tracking log
• Effectively work both with a team and independently as needed
• Vertical concrete work requires employees who are aware of their surroundings and are alert to potential safetyhazards at all times.
• Working during a variety of climates from extreme heat to extreme cold, exposure to dust and noise
• Coordinate with other trades
• Other duties related to concrete may be assigned as needed

Job Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of concrete field experience strongly preferred (preferably vertical concrete)
• Intermediate/advanced carpentry skills
• Ability to complete basic math including, addition, subtraction and reading a tape measure
• Must be able to wear all safety equipment including steel tee boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and appropriate tie-offgear. This job may require addition safety gear depending on the task at hand and all employees are required tofollow company safety policy and requirements
• Ability to operate tools and equipment on the job site including power tools and shoring equipment
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to regularly (25-50% of the time) lift/lower, carry and push/pull various amounts of force within the "heavywork" as defined by the US Department of Labor; team lift or mechanical assist recommended for weights over 50 pounds.
• Dependable and flexible hours: Availability Mon – Fri, 6am – 6pm
• Ability to legally work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship either now or in the future.

executing a wide variety of tasks assigned to him/her by a member of the leadership team on the job site. This is a full-time
position with competitive pay including benefits. Need to be comfortable with construction culture and environment and able
to work well with others in a team setting. Must be able to work on a construction site.
